Experience Engraver
 
Identitag is a well established company with a UK and international client base who are looking to recruit new, permanent production engraving staff.
 
The role involves all aspects of CNC engraving and milling, running networked gravograph rotary IS600 IS8000XP and hybrid IS8000XP engraving machines and various large format laser engraving machines. Other machine include: Grinder’s machines: Taylor-Hobson G type grinders.
 
Materials machined: stainless steel, aluminium, brass, Abet laminates, Rowmark materials, Perspex and nylon for industrial clients
 
The ideal candidate will have previous experience within engraving or a manufacturing/engineering sector with a solid background in Microsoft Office (excel and word) and one or more of the following CAD packages.
 
CAD packages running on Microsoft windows XP and windows 7
AutoCAD
Gravostyle 98 to ver. 7
Vision numeric Typeedit (Type3)
Laser type
Adobe Illustrator
CorelDraw
CAD link: EngraveLab
Or other cad/cam engraving or milling software
 
The candidate will need to be able to work from drawings in paper/CAD format files, MSExcel files and from verbal instructions. They will also need to work with a quality and finishing team, work to fine tolerances and to tight deadlines, work both independently and as part of a team on a variety of projects. The successful candidate will need to rigorously check the quality of their work prior to quality control inspections which occurs before any work is packaged.
 
Due to the nature of the work all employees need to wear steel toe caps (supplied) and ear defenders (supplied).
 
Hours 40hrs: Monday to Friday 8am to 4.30pm with overtime to 6.00pm + overtime on Saturdays 7.30am to noon)
 
The salary competitive rates (depending on experience) + over time
Holidays 20days + statutory holidays

Trainee Industrial/Commercial Engraver
 
Identitag is a well established leading engraving company with a UK and international client base who are looking to recruit new, permanent production engraving staff. 
The role involves all aspects of CNC engraving, milling and laser engraving, running large format rotary engraving machines and various large format laser engraving machines
 
The ideal candidate will have previous experience within a manufacturing/engineering sector with knowledge of Microsoft Office (excel and word) and a background of one or more of the following CAD packages will be an advantage.
 
 
Design packages running on Microsoft Windows XP and Windows 7
AutoCAD
Adobe Illustrator
CorelDraw
Or any other drawing vector application. However training will be provided on CAD/CAM engraving/milling packages.
 
Due to the nature of the work all employees need to wear steel toe caps (supplied) and ear defenders (supplied).
 
Hours 40hrs: Monday to Friday 8am to 4.30pm
 
The salary depending on experience + over time
Holidays 20days + statutory holidays
 
 
 

Product Finisher
 
Identitag is a well established company with a UK and international client base who are looking to recruit new, permanent production staff.
 
The ideal candidate will have previous experience within a manufacturing or engineering sector.
 
The role involves working with engravers and QA staff.
The job details: finishing of engraved and milled products. This process involves manual machine grinding, guillotines, manual machine polishing, painting and clearing of products. An eye for detail is essential.
 
 
The candidate will need to work as part of a team and communicate effectively with the quality control team.
 
Full training will be provided.
